I mentioned last week that our California MFT Law & Ethics Exam prep books kick ass. But you know what’s even better? Our California Clinical Social Work Law & Ethics Exam prep book. It’s gotten more love than I ever expected, and only now do I see why: With a study guide and practice exam already baked in, it’s a power pack of exam prep. It’s a lot cheaper than the online prep programs available for L&E. And, like our books for the other professions, it’s efficient. We teach you what you need, without a lot of fluff that only serves to make people more anxious.
We’re proud to be updating the book for 2019. Here’s all the cool stuff in our new edition, Preparing for the 2019 California Clinical Social Work Law & Ethics Exam:
It’s up to date.
One of the biggest changes in the world of Clinical Social Work has been the release of the 2018 NASW Code of Ethics. It didn’t add a lot of new rules, but it did bring a great deal of additional clarity to existing ones. And of course, there have been a number of impactful changes in state law over the past few years as well. New regulations for telehealth took effect in 2016; several rules around supervision are changing in 2019. All of that and more is covered in this update.
We added new questions.
The new Preparing has more than 100 practice questions in all, including a full-length practice test. About 20 of those questions are brand new to this edition, covering recent changes in legal and ethical standards, and a bunch of stuff we haven’t had questions about before.
It’s test content and test strategy.
Test strategy and test-taking skills can be every bit as important as your underlying knowledge of the material. We’ve updated and expanded our discussion of how to take the test.
